Canada Post Strike ActionUpdated 2 months ago
We have been made aware that, unfortunately, a number of our parcels heading to customers in Canada have been impacted by the current strike action in progress within Canada Post. This has meant that orders are being held up in the final leg of their journey.
We will do our very best to keep our customers informed during this period
Please see below FAQs:
When did the strike begin?
The strike began on 15th November 2024 but we have noticed that, due to transit time from our warehouse in the UK, orders placed from 12th November 2024 may be affected and subject to delays.
When is it likely to end?
You can keep up to date with negotiation progress here
Where is my parcel?
Once you place your order, it is our duty to fulfil our contractual requirements and dispatch your parcel from our warehouse in the UK. Once it has entered Canada and cleared customs it will be held in the Canada Post depot until the strike action is over.
Can I cancel/refund my order once it has shipped?
Parcels cannot be intercepted once in transit therefore, unfortunately, once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel or process a refund. Your orders are on their way to you and will be delivered by Canada Post once they resume activity.
You can make a claim for delayed delivery via Canada Post here
Does this affect the returns policy?
No! Our returns policy states that you have 45 days from when you receive your order to return any unwanted goods.
Do you offer alternative shipping solutions?
In order to keep shipping costs as low as possible (or free with orders of over $95 USD) we work with a specific final mile carrier in each territory that we deliver to. For Canada this is Canada Post. We have kept this option available on the website as we do not want our customers to miss out on our Black Friday offers or free shipping
We have, however, added the option to ship via FedEx express to our checkout
