P&Co x WESN Knife - FAQ'sUpdated 9 hours ago

Are they legal to carry in the UK?
Yes, the Henry knives we sell are UK legal slip joint knives. This means they are non-locking and can be legally carried in the UK.

What materials are used to create the P&Co x WESN Henry knives?
This special collaboration knife is crafted from a unique combination of premium and traditional materials.

  • Handle: The handle is constructed from two primary materials: raw brass and ethically sourced ox bone. The ox bone provides the canvas for the custom "scrimshaw" artwork.
  • Blade: The blade is forged from high-quality Sandvik 14C28N steel, a Swedish stainless steel known for its excellent edge retention, hardness, and high resistance to corrosion.
  • Hardware: To complement the handle, the hardware, including screws and other fittings, are also made from brass.

Care & Maintenance

How should I look after my new knife?
To ensure your knife performs at its best and lasts a lifetime, we recommend regular maintenance. Keep the blade clean and dry after use to prevent corrosion.
The pivot mechanism should be kept free of grit and debris. Sharpening the blade when necessary will maintain its cutting performance for years to come.

How to clean your Knife

  1. Wash: Carefully clean the knife by hand with warm water and a very small amount of soap.
  2. Rinse: Hold the knife under running water until every trace of soap and grime has been washed away.
  3. Dry: Immediately use a soft, absorbent towel (microfibre is ideal) to thoroughly dry the entire knife, paying close attention to the blade and handle.

Warranty & Engraving

Is there a warranty on my knife?
We are unfortunately unable to offer a warranty on the knives sold through P&Co. As a retailer, we partner with premium brands like WESN to bring you a curated selection of high-quality goods. However, we are not the manufacturer of these knives.

A manufacturer's warranty, like the lifetime warranty offered by WESN, covers defects in the original materials and workmanship. This guarantee comes directly from the team that designed, built, and assembled the product. Because we did not manufacture the knife, we are not equipped to assess or service potential warranty claims.

What if I damage my knife using the included engraving kit?
Any use of the engraving or etching kit is done entirely at the customer’s own risk. P&Co accepts no responsibility for any damage, cosmetic or otherwise, caused during the engraving process. P&Co will not offer replacements or refunds for knives that have been altered or damaged by the use of the included etching kit.
