Your Legal Rights When Returning Faulty ClothingUpdated 5 hours ago
We always want you to love our products, but if something isn’t quite right with your item, we’re here to help. Here’s a quick guide to your rights under UK law when it comes to returning faulty items.
What counts as a "faulty" item?
A faulty item might be something that:
- Has a rip, tear, or hole soon after purchase
- Has stitching that comes undone early on
- Has a broken or faulty zip
- Loses colour or shape unusually quickly
- Isn’t as described on the label or online
If any of these apply, don’t worry, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.
How long have you had the item?
Within 30 Days of Purchase
You’re legally entitled to a full refund if your item is faulty within 30 days, this is part of your “short-term right to reject” under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. However, we've made the decision to extend this to 45 days to ensure our customers are completely happy with their items.
After 45 Days, Up to 6 Months
You can ask for a repair or replacement.
If the problem can’t be fixed, or the replacement also turns out to be faulty, you can then request for a refund.
After 6 Months
After six months, you may still have a right to a repair or replacement, but you will need to demonstrate that the issue was present at the time of purchase or within the early stages of the purchase.
Because it can be difficult to distinguish a pre-existing fault from issues caused by normal wear and tear over time, we are typically unable to offer compensation after this period. We therefore strongly encourage all customers to inspect their items and report any problems as soon as possible to ensure we can provide the best support.
What do you need to return an item In-store?
To make things smoother, please try to bring:
- Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or bank statement)
- The faulty item itself, clean and dry
- Details of the issue (what went wrong, and when you noticed it)
Bought Online?
If you purchased online, you also have extra protection under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This includes a 14-day "cooling-off" period, even if the item isn’t faulty.
What's not covered?
We can’t offer a refund or replacement if the fault was caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Not following the care label instructions
